How To Join a Workcamp
If a workcamp seems to suit your expectations, please have a look at the details of the workcamp you have chosen and carefully also read all the helpful information at the information and requirements page. Take your time reading through the program and rules and maybe following the links that provide you more information about the area and/or the city where the project takes place.

The WF organization works through a worldwide network of workcamp associations and groups collaborating and supporting each other, such as the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organizations (Alliance), Service Civil International (SCI) or Youth Action for Peace (YAP). It is within these networks that we exchange volunteers willing to participate in international workcamps.
In order to join a workcamp you need to contact the nearest partner (sending) organization in your country. You can find lists of sending organizations e.g. at www.sciint.org , at www.alliance-network.eu or http://europa.eu/youth/volunteering_-_exchanges/work_camps/index_eu_en.html or contact us by e-mail if you can‘t find a partner organization within your country.
Once you get in contact with your SENDING ORGANIZATION, they will give you more support and information to submit your participation in the chosen project. Please respect the deadlines for each workcamp, usually settled more or less one month before its beginning.
Feel free to contact us for every detail that you could not find on our website as well as for specific questions or general support.
We look foward to welcoming you soon here in Iceland !
